The best time to ask for a raise

We all would love a little extra money for what we do, but what about when we know we deserve a raise? Often these conversations are awkward and avoided, but they don’t need to be.

There are times throughout our careers when a pay rise is in order, and often it is up to us to ask for it. However, there are certain times when it is more appropriate to ask for an increase in your salary. For example Monday is a big no no. There are also opportunities that can present themselves which create the ideal opening to speak with your manager.
